Bloomingdale's Return Policy

We hope you love your Bloomingdale’s purchases. However, should you change your mind, we are happy to accept returns of saleable merchandise, with proof of purchase, and credit your original form of payment. Most returns will be accepted within 30 days of receipt with a few exceptions:

  • CHANEL, myGemma, REBAG, or any other pre-owned merchandise is eligible for returns within 14 days of purchase.
  • Items marked “The Final Offer;" any products that were altered, customized, monogrammed, or personalized; breast pumps; food and beverage items; and sexual wellness products are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Furniture, mattresses, and area rugs and items “sold and shipped” by a third party seller have special return policies that can be found by clicking here.

Returned merchandise must be in the same condition as when you received it (unused, unworn, undamaged) and must include all tags and original packaging.

Any gifts with purchase must be returned with the qualifying items. If you do not return them, the value of the gift may be deducted from your refund, or your return may not be accepted.


Merchandise purchased at bloomingdales.com or a Bloomingdale’s store cannot be returned or exchanged at The Outlet Store.


Bloomingdale’s reserves the right to determine if returned merchandise is in saleable condition. While we cannot accommodate every return, we value you and will always be reasonable.
