 How does MasterCard SecureCode work?
 
 
 
 There are two ways MasterCard SecureCode can work to protect your security:

 If you or your bank are enrolled with MasterCard SecureCode, you might be asked to answer a security question to confirm your identity before you can complete a purchase with your MasterCard.

 <li>
 Or, during Order Review, your bank may present you with a MasterCard SecureCode challenge.

 Note:
 
 For the password prompt, you will need to enter the password you set up with the MasterCard SecureCode program.
 
 
 If your challenge is successful when you click "Submit," your order will be placed. If your challenge is unsuccessful, you will be prompted to enter another form of payment (a different credit or debit card) before you can continue with your order.
 
 
 
 I failed my challenge. What can I do?
 
 
 
 You can try entering another form of payment (a different credit or debit card).
 
 
 If the alternate method of payment fails, please contact the bank that issued your credit card for technical support. For security reasons, Bloomingdale's cannot offer you technical support regarding this challenge process.
 
 
 
 Does Bloomingdale's store any information I send to my bank during this challenge process?
 
 
 
 Bloomingdale's does not receive or store any information you enter during the challenge process. This information is shared securely between you and your bank.
