What currencies does Borderfree support?

We support currencies for the available international shipping locations. For a list of available shipping locations and shopping currencies, please click the flag in the upper-right corner of the homepage. Once you confirm your location preferences, you'll be able to see products priced in your selected currency.


What payment options does Borderfree support?

The following payment methods are accepted by Borderfree:

How much does international shipping cost?

International shipping rates are determined during online checkout by Borderfree and are calculated based on a number of factors, including:

  • Desired shipping level (standard/express)

  • Merchandise purchased

  • Weight of item(s)

  • Destination location/region




Can in-store promotions and sales be applied to my order?

If the Bloomingdale's offer contains an online promotion code, it can be applied to an online order. You can use one (1) promotion code per order.

To apply a promo, during checkout on bloomingdales.com:

  • Enter the promotion code in the PROMO CODE box

  • Click APPLY

  • The discount will be reflected in the merchandise total

  • Click CONTINUE CHECKOUT




Please note: Shipping promotions on bloomingdales.com apply to U.S. shipping fees associated with shipping from our warehouse to the Borderfree U.S. warehouse. Additional international shipping fees may apply.



What is an authorization hold on my international order?

Authorization holds occur when a purchase is made online or by phone. An authorization hold for the entire amount of the order is placed on your credit card when the order is confirmed. Once the merchandise ships, your credit card will be charged and the hold is removed.



If you're using a debit card to make your purchase, we'll request an authorization from your bank for the transaction amount immediately after you submit. Your bank will place a hold on these funds in anticipation of receiving the actual withdrawal from your deposit account. We do not process the actual charge to your debit card until your order is shipped; however, we will request another authorization from your bank to verify that the funds remain available if there is a delay from your order date to our shipping date.



In the event that your order is cancelled, you may contact your bank to request an immediate release of any holds on your deposit account. If your bank is unable to assist you, please email us at [email protected] with the following:

  • Name

  • Order number

  • Date of purchase

  • Transaction amount

  • Customer location of origin

  • Issuing bank name and the fax number or email address




The exact timeframe for removal is determined by your card's issuing bank.
