Exchange Policy

Exchanges on bloomingdales.com:

Merchandise purchased on bloomingdales.com can be exchanged within 90 days of shipment by using our online return tool for credit. If you need additional assistance with your exchange, please chat with us using the link at the bottom of this page 9a-12a ET(holiday exceptions may apply).

Please note:

  • Merchandise purchased on bloomingdales.com can also be exchanged at any Bloomingdale’s store location within 90 days of shipment
  • Items carried in stores vary between locations and not all items online are carried in all stores.
  • Online purchases cannot be exchanged at a Bloomingdale’s The Outlet Store.
  • If your item to be exchanged was received as a gift , we will mail you a gift card after Bloomingdale’s receives your return.
  • Merchandise sold and shipped by a third-party seller are not eligible for exchanges. Please return and purchase your preferred item separately.

Merchandise purchased at a Bloomingdale’s store must be exchanged at a Bloomingdale’s store location. 

  • Unfortunately, bloomingdales.com cannot accept exchanges for items that were purchased at a store.
  • Please do not attempt to exchange these items using our online return shipping label. If you attempt to exchange an item that was purchased at a store to bloomingdales.com, we will return it to you.
  • Bloomingdale’s cannot accept responsibility for items that are returned to our fulfillment center if those items were purchased at a store.

Merchandise should be exchanged:

  • New and unused
  • With Bloomingdale’s b-tags and designer garment tags still attached
  • With any accompanying materials that were included in the original, such as:
    • Belts and other accessories
  • Designer packaging, including:
    • Authenticity cards
    • Dust bags
    • Leather tags
