How do I dispute the balance of my Gift Card?

If you believe the balance of your Bloomingdale's gift card is incorrect, Bloomingdale's will be happy to review your gift card balance once you have completed the following steps:

1. Print and complete a Gift Card Balance Dispute Form

2. Provide a copy of the front and back of the Gift Card with your dispute form

3. Include a valid proof of purchase for the Gift Card

4. Email the above documents to [email protected]

Please note that only requests submitted with the proper documentation will be accepted.  Due to privacy and security concerns, Bloomingdale's does not accept online claim requests without a copy of the front and back of the Gift Card.


If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please contact the Gift Card department at 1-800-511-2752. They are available Monday through Saturday from 9AM - 12AM ET and Sunday from 9AM - 11PM ET. Issues may include:

  • You do not have proof of purchase and/or are unable to send us a copy of the gift card
  • You are unable to check your balance online or by calling 1-800-511-2752
  • If you are inquiring about the balance of a Give Pink, Get More or Loyallist Gift Card
  • If you are inquiring about the balance of a promotional gift card (a card with an expiration date)
  • If you have any questions or concerns regarding your Gift Card balance dispute
  • Your Gift Card is not working online or in store
  • If you have not received your return Gift Card from an online or store return, please call 1-800-777-0000
